This 2-hour mini-retreat is a cakra tune-up. It is geared toward any person who is interested in learning about the cakra-s or is interested in being guided in cakra practice.
The intentions of the mini-retreat are to:
- Create an energetic tuning for the cakra-s (energetic centers of the body) through use of yoga postures, chanting, pranayama, and meditation.
- Build to a core posture, Maha Mudra, that embodies an inner alignment of the energy centers in the body.
- Create vibration and movement of prana with chanting of bija or seed mantras for each cakra.
- Reflect on the energetic centers or cakra-s in relationship to your intentions.
This type of practice is helpful on a regular basis, maybe once a week or once a month. The cakra-s are a model of personality and a specially targeted practice can help us strengthen and actualize our capabilities and weaken our challenges.
