The Peter Hess Sound Massage session by a certified Peter Hess Sound Massage Practitioner includes use of metal singing bowls on the body, including shoulders, upper back, mid-back, lower back, feet, hands, chest, and belly. Gentle tapping on the bowls is used to create sound and gentle vibration in key spots.   The receiver of the session is fully clothed.  A majority of the session is done with the practitioner in a prone position.  The last portion of the session is done with the practitioner on their back.  Props and blankets are used for comfort and warmth.   Deep relaxation, focused attention, tension relief, pain relief, and mental alertness are some of the possible effects of a sound massage,
