Breathe, flow, stretch, strengthen and regulate your stress with the power of your breathing to guide you through an intelligent and creative sequence of asanas (postures). Steady and Flexible, Alert in Body and Mind.
Strengthen your legs, back, hips, abdominals and upper body. We'll explore progressive weight bearing to support healthy bones, joints and muscle tone, integrating Pilates within the sequence. We'll continually practice balance and mental clarity so your choices and intentions create a practice that serves you best on the mat and in daily 'life practice.'
Best of all we can support each other in finding some equilibrium with a good laugh, healthy sweat and a lot of smiles.
Please have the awareness to take advantage of adaptations in class for care of wrists, knees and shoulders. Practice mindfully instead of mechanically, seamlessly moving into the rest of your day with balance, clarity and intention. Looking forward to practicing with you.
