Evolving - constantly changing and growing. Gradually developing your skills while working on breath with movement. Asanas are performed to improve flexibility, strength and balance.
During this special Evolving Yoga Strength & Balance Series you will learn:
- How to test your balance and check your progress
- How strength and balance work together
- Addition of light weights in some yoga postures to increase strength
- Focus on core strength postures, an important partner to balance
- Challenging your balance with yoga postures and adaptations
- Using patterns of repetition and stay in postures to develop more strength
- Promoting mental and emotional balance by getting to know your breath with simple breathing practices that are accessible and easy to learn
