Interconnected Strength: Movement Practices for Mind-Body Well-Being
All Levels with Heather Van Dalfsen, MEd. C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, Certified Yoga Therapist and Viniyoga Teacher, Pilates Teacher-in-Training

Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30pm (Hybrid Class - In Studio & Online)

Enter this class with curiosity and kindness -- We will Breathe, Move, Stretch, Strengthen, Smile and Sweat. 

  • First 20 minutes we will warm up - taking care of legs, core (back, hips, abs) and upper body
  • Next 20 minutes we will explore more strengthening and stretching (Note: we can use hand weights, soup cans, water bottles, jug of detergent - be creative)
  • Last 20 minutes we will warm down with nourishing yoga postures and prepare for relaxation
These Mind-Body practices will support:

  • Muscle tone for bone and joint health
  • Stress Management
  • Respiratory, cardiovascular and immune system health 
  • Mental clarity and awareness
Please have the awareness to take advantage of adaptations in class for care of wrists, knees and shoulders. Practice mindfully instead of mechanically, seamlessly moving into your week with balance, clarity and intention.

When you attend an In-Studio class, please bring your mat, props as needed and water bottle if need hydration. Looking forward to practicing with you.
