Shen Cycle of the Element Wheel: em.bodi.ment

a 6-week series: 10:00 - 10:40 AM | February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3 and 10. 

with Pamela Luedtke, PMA-CPT Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified Brain Gym® Instructor, founder and artistic director of Point Dance Ensemble, a founding member of Shuvani Tribal Belly Dance, and Lecturer at UWSP in Ballet, Modern Dance, and Pilates Mat. 

Cost: $49 for the series or an Unlimited Membership. 

Revitalize yoru focus and motivation during this 6 week session that offers an opportunity to explore the Shen cycle of the Element Wheel. The Shen cycle rotates therough the Element Wheel in a circle sequence that reflected on how each element creates the next element; for example, Water creates Wood. This 6 session series offers the students the option to meet as a group live stream on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 AM or to participate via recording of the class whenever is most convenient, with each session lasting 40 minutes. Each week's recording will be available from the date of the class until March 24. 

Class begins with the 5-Element Integrated Movement which is a whole-body movement sequence focusing on the Shen rotation. Each class will dive deeper into a specific element to expand our em.bodi.ment of the muscles and mreidians related to each element. After this session, you will be able to include in your personal physical practice the ability to trace the 12 Meridians and utilize the 5 element Integrated Movements sequence. This sequence is a great addition to your practice as a pre-movement expeirence or simply a quick afternoon break to revitalize.

Session 2: Water: Inetegrated Movement, Bladder / Kidney Meridians
Session 3: Wood: Integrated Movement, Gallbladder / Liver Meridians
Session 4: Fire: Inttegrated Movement, Heart / Small Intestine and Circulation Sex / Triple Warmer Meridians
Session 5: Earth: Integrated Movement, Stomach / Spleen Meridians
Session 6: Metal: Integrated Movement, Lung / Large Intestine Meridians
