What movement habits might be limiting your balance, comfort, or confidence without realizing it? What would it feel like to move with greater ease, adaptability, and whole-body support?


Explore movement as a skill that can continue developing throughout life. Using principles from the Alexander Technique and the Framework for Integration, this workshop offers simple movement exploration that help reveal habitual patters and open new possibilities for coordination, balance, resilience and ease. Participants will investigate spirals, breath, weight shifting, and whole body support through playful and practical activities that apply to everyday movement.

  • Learn to approach active movement with greater confidence, adaptability, and ease
  • Discover how everyday habits influence coordination, balance, and effort
  • Explore guided methodology from the Alexander Technique and the Framework for Integration 
  • Begin with simple awareness and movement explorations that help you notice habitual patterns in standing, walking, breathing and active movement 
  • Move into guided activities and partner explorations that gradually build toward more dynamic movement applications while learning how to coordination emerges through adaptability rather than force 
  • Conclude with close reflection, questions, and practical ways to integrate the material into daily living
Workshop will include: Gentle movement explorations, breath awareness, balance and coordination activities, spiral and weight-shifting patterns, guided partner work, walking explorations, seated and standing practices, discussion, and short movements of rest and reflection. 

Who should attend? Anyone interested in moving with greater awareness and efficiency - weather in yoga, sports, gardening, hiking, dance, music, meditation, or everyday life! No previous experience is necessary!


What you’ll need? Please have a yoga mat, blanket or pillow, water bottle and wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.
